CFEL OSA Student Chapter established
CFEL OSA Student Chapter Kickoff Event on February 5th, 2015

We are happy to announce that the Center for Free-Electron Laser Science (CFEL) OSA Student Chapter has been established. Being the first one in Hamburg, it currently consists of 11 students and is supervised by Prof. Franz X. Kaertner. In order to celebrate the approval of our chapter, we are going to have a kickoff event at 18:30 on February 5th, 2015. The place is chosen to be the bridge on the 3rd floor of CFEL building. All interested students regardless of being an OSA member or not are welcome to attend. Plus, there will be some food and beverages served.

OSA student chapters constitute a network of OSA students around the world and receive many valuable benefits and services such as:
1. Activity funds for activity and youth education
2. Global networking opportunities and soft skills trainings
3. Traveling lecturer grant for inviting esteemed personality and many more of which can be found here.
