Universität Hamburg researcher receives funding of €1.5 million

Tais Gorkhover has been Professor of "Experimental Physics with a focus on X-ray Physics at Free-Electron Lasers" at the Department of Physics at Universität Hamburg located at CFEL since June 2020.

For the development of more environmentally friendly chemicals or novel materials, it is important to be able to take high-resolution images of processes in molecules and nanoparticles. Tais Gorkhover from Universität Hamburg is researching new imaging methods as part of her "HIGH-Q" project - and is now receiving funding for this from the European Research Council.
